Description: 'Midnight Star' is a deciduous perennial forming a clump of narrowly strap-shaped leaves, with stout stems carrying rounded umbels of very dark blue flowers from mid to late summer.
Care: Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or grow in a container. In cold areas, mulch well overwinter. Propagate by division every 3 to 4 years in spring. No need to cut down in the autumn, as the seedheads look attractive over winter.
