Description: 'Black Pearl' is a dense, clump forming perennial with shiny, scalloped, jet black leaves with ruffled edges. White flowers in summertime have pink calyces and are borne on slender upright stems in panicles.
Care: Best grown in fertile, moist but well-drained soil that is neutral, in full sun or partial shade. Can tolerate clay and drought. Apply a mulch in spring. Propagate by division in autumn. Deadhead faded flower spikes. Remove dead or untidy foliage.
