A rhizomatous perennial with fans of sword shaped leaves. Flowers are deep rose pink plicata on white and are produced in mid summer. Best grown in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun. Ensure the rhizome is partially exposed.

Care: Lift and divide the iris clump every 4 years. Give a spring feed with a balanced fertiliser.
