Description:
Anemone multifida 'Rubra' is a spring-flowering anemone, ideal for growing in moist, shady situations such as woodland, or north-facing gardens. Plants form a low mound of fern-like, lush green foliage, from which upright stalks of small red flowers appear for several weeks. Flowers are followed by woolly seed heads in late summer.
Care:
Not a huge amount of care needed. I cut away the old leaves early in the year to allow space for the new leaves to sprout.
