Description:
Astilbe bring such vibrancy to shaded areas in the garden. I really enjoy the foliage of Astilbes, it's frothy and light so merges well with other plants. The flower stems rise high above the foliage so give quite a strong contrast.
Care:
Not a huge amount of work needed. I deadhead mine and divide either after flowering or in early spring!
